Measures the DC structure to earth potentials of various buried or submerged metal structures. Powered by two “AA” penlight cells. Solid state integrated circuit has built-in filter to reject AC interference. May also be used without the reference electrode to measure direct current potentials from 0 to 2 volts, such as potentials across an insulated flange, anode to structure, or structure to structure.

Powered by an ordinary 9-volt battery, the Model CPV-4 gives an immediate reading in large 1/2 inch (12.7mm.) liquid crystal display numerals. RSS is the most advanced and reliable remote fuel level monitoring system on the market today. The RSS system actively tracks and reports tank levels and indoor temperature.

RSS uses a solar powered transmitter, so the safety, maintenance and reliability issues associated with batteries are eliminated. A compact receiver is placed indoors and connected to a phone line, much like an answering machine. The receiver calls in the tank level data to RSS’s toll free number anywhere from once daily to once every two weeks for four adjustable tank level schedules; you decide. A direct Internet connection option is in development essentially promoting real time monitoring while eliminating phone charges. Both capabilities will be available on the same receiver.

Data is collected and stored on the RSS server. You need only an internet connection to receive daily E-mail tank level reports, set up custom account preferences and have online report access. RSS voice-synthesized software will notify you by phone when a customer’s tank level and/or temperature trips the assigned threshold limits, all set by you. Installation is simple, requiring basic mechanical ability. Plug-and-Play; no field programming is required. No tank draining. RSS uses the backward compatible replacement Rochester Remote Ready dial. Transmitter is permanently installed on tank cover or pole mount. Solar cell is incorporated in the transmitter enclosure, 3"x2"x3/4", and the entire assembly encapsulated for safety and environmental conditions. Te indoor receiver, 6’’x4’’x1’, has an LED display of fuel level and temperature. Extensive “real world” testing by independent propane companies throughout the US, and proven in the most extreme conditions on top of Pikes Peak.
