Tanks available and ready for pickup include: Aboveground white 250 gallon, 320 gallon, 500 gallon, and 1,000 gallon ASME. Underground 500 and 1,000 gallon ASME tanks are also available for immediate pickup. Optional standard tank colors are aluminum and beige. A wide selection of custom dome colors are available. Aboveground LPG tanks conform to the latest edition and addenda of the ASME Code for Pressure Vessels, Section VIII Division I. Complies with NFPA 58 and are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. All tanks are pre-purged and ready to be filled. Rated at 250 psig from -20° F. to 125° F. All tanks may be evacuated to a full (14.7 psi) vacuum.
Tough, Durable Urethane Finish: There is a lot of debate over which finish is best. Some use powder coating. Others, like Quality Steel, use urethane. Why? QSC builds on the experience of the auto industry. Some of the big auto manufacturers may not be able to agree that one makes a better truck or sedan, but they do agree on urethane paint finishes. When a better protection for steel exposed to the elements comes along, the automotive industry will embrace it, and so will Quality Steel. Until then, your tanks, like your car, should have the best protection available -- urethane.
