Corken Side Channel Pumps - Stationary
Typically used for cylinder filling, vaporizer feeding, pumping from underground storage and bulk filling operations. Designed for LPG applications where high-differential pressure is necessary or low NPSH conditions exist, such as pumping from underground tanks. Can handle up to 50% vapor and low NPSH conditions. Capable of building differential pressures of over 200 psi (14 bar). Order motor separately.

Vertical Gas Compressors - Stationary
Corken compressors can be used to transfer liquids between tanks, off-load/load-out liquids, recover residual vapor, and evacuate vapors for maintenance purposes. Many LPG piping systems do not provide ideal NPSH conditions for liquid pumps, which causes excessive pump maintenance. Since compressors are only exposed to vapors, they are not affected by poor NPSH conditions.
Many LPG pressurized tanks such as railcars and buried tanks have top unloading connections. A compressor can be the perfect solution for transferring liquids to and from such tanks. Compressors are available in oil-free and non-lubricated vertical and horizontal designs, with threaded or ANSI flanged connections. Depending on the application, single and two-stage compressors are available.
Corken compressors are designed to minimize required maintenance and make such maintenance extremely simple. Maintenance operations such as valve replacement may be accomplished without disturbing the piping, while ring replacement may be accomplished simply by removing the head.
Corken compressors are designed for maximum versatility. A compressor installed for one application can easily be piped to be used for other plant applications. For example, a railcar unloading compressor can also be used to load and unload trucks. Corken offers four sizes of vertical, oil-free, single-stage compressors (Models 91, 291, 491 & 691). These compressors cover a full range of capacities from 24 to 361 gpm (5.5 to 82 m3/hr) in liquid transfer.
