NV - Teeco has made a tradition of helping to raise funds for the WPERC Scholarship Fund. (We won't soon forget the dunk tank from a few years ago!) The Scholarship Fund is very important to us as a company and as members of the industry. We are happy to announce that the events at this year's WPGA Convention raised a total of $27,442!
The Silent Auction raised a total of $9,610 for the WPERC Scholarship Fund. Donations and bidders came from far and wide. Teeco would like to thank all who participated by generously donating and bidding on the auction items.
Congratulations to Shannon McWhorter of Sequoia Gas, who won the PACA Dispenser donated by TEECO Products, Inc. Shannon also won a Hand Held GPS donated by Worthington Cylinders and a Descente Ski Suit & Snow Basin Ticket Package donated by PERS.
Carole Owens of Owens Energy was the highest bidder on 6 items! She won a DVD/CD Player donated by TEECO Products, a Red Dragon Patio Light donated by Flame Engineering, an IPod donated by Mesa Products, a package of Two Rounds of Golf at Wolf Run donated by Meeder Equipment/Ransome Manufacturing, a Portable DVD Player donated by Allied Utilities, and a 30 Gigabyte IPod donated by Thompson Tank.
Carole Start of All American Propane was also a big winner, being the highest bidder on 4 items. She won two 20# Sure Flame Grill Cylinders and a case of Ruhl Vineyards Wine, both donated by Manchester Tank. She also won a Solaire "Anywhere" Stainless Steel Grill & Travel Package donated by TEECO Products and a 19 piece Wolfgang Puck Cookware Set donated by Tuthill.
John Andrews won a 6.0 Megapixel Digital Camera donated by RegO Products. Jeff Hopkins of Sheldon Gas Company won Big Yellow Premium Wine donated by Liqua-Tech and a 169 piece Tool Set with Stainless Steel Toolbox that Remote Sensing Systems donated.
Maskey Heath of Pacific Propane won a Propane Transport Model donated by Rural Computer Consultants and an Old Fashioned Wooden Radio/CD/Record Player donated by WestMor. John Bailor of Kiva Energy won a Homestead Patio Heater donated by TEECO Products. And Judy Kinnie of Shasta Gas won a Stainless Steel Serving Cart, also donated by TEECO Products.
Rich Burgston of Utah L.P. and Marilyn Platz of Delta Liquid Energy both won Ruhl Premium Wine donated by Butane-Propane News. Rich also won a GQ-210 Griddle donated by Liberty Tank & Vessel.
Tim Blankenheim of Kamps Propane won a Homestead Patio Heater donated by TEECO Products. Eric Benson of J. S. West & Co. won a Golf Package donated by Rochester Gauge. Stacie Richards and Peggy Clark or Mountain States both won "Taste of Washington" Wine Baskets donated by Al Gas/SDI.
...And the fundraising didn’t stop there. The raffle for the ATV donated by Trinity raised $13,775 and the WPGA Golf Tournament raised $4,057.
