TEECO employees raise $2,310 for WPGA Scholarship Fund at 2003 Western Propane Show in Reno

WPGA Members came out in support of the scholarship fund, which provides grants to industry kids entering college. In 2003, scholarships were awarded to 16 recipients. Awards, ranged from $250 to $1,500. TEECO would like to thank all those who participated in the fundraiser. 100% of your contributions went to the scholarship fund. A few lucky people went home with prizes. Helen and Kurt Bryant, of ACME Propane in Lincoln, CA took home the Grand Prize: A Grand Cafe 2000 grill, a Homestead Patio heater and a stainless steel serving cart valued at $2,500. Helen and Kurt were on a roll that day. They also won a three-burner hot plate. First prize went to Brian Thorne, of J.S. West in Modesto, CA. Brian took home a TEECO antique meter clock. Other lucky winners took home Olympian 4100 grills. They included Tina Kluck, Blue Star Gas–Garberville, Pat Walker, Triple “R” Gas–Red Bluff, Joe Amarant, Amarant’s Propane– Atwater, Mark Twitchell, Allied Propane–Napa, and Jeff Myers, J.W. Myers–Madera. Chuck Gill, of Dorns Gas– Riverdale won a two burner hot plate. Top fundraising honors went to Mike Gould. Good job Mike!
